Three are ready for new homes.

I just finished the two temple picture. Salt Lake City Temple for my two Aunt Joan and Lona. The third is Fishing on rough Seas it's inspired and for my Dad. I think that if he was out fishing on his canoe and rough waters started he'd just lay back and wait it out. So these are signed framed and ready to go.

Two Faries (2009)

I found my quilting templets for faries so I used them to get better faries. I love this much more than the others. what do you think? I just found out last night that I have a friend that has started painting with water colors. I'm excited to see her work.

fairy

I wanted to do a fairy. this is
what I came up with. my friend
loves it I'm still not sure yet.

castle

I like this one, my friend thinks
I should add a man in stocks in the
castle yard.

Beach

I think this looks like the beach is going down hill, it's not suppose to but I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Monet in watercolor (2009)

This is a monet recreation. I love
this. I love the colors here. Of course
Monet did it in oil on canvas.

Some elements I left out because
I just couldn't get them to look right.
and the water is darker in mine.

Bad Sea otter (2009)

This is a really bad Sea Otter
the girls from the sleepover
said it looks like a cross between
a sea otter and a fox. I agree. But
all that matters is that Elise loved
it, this was done by request. She
saw Moselle's and asked if I could
do a sea otter. I think it looks funny.

A Long Way From Home (2009)

My daugher's friends stayed the night
and were talking about their trip to the
zoo to see the lights. Moselle didn't realize
that the polor bear walking up the path
was just one of the mascots and not real.
she kind of got nervous. So I painted this
for her and she loved it. It's kind of goofy
and not really good but that didn't matter
to her.

Fishing Rough Sea's (2009)

This would be my dad. Just
relax and let the storm pass he
hooked his fish, why worry.
I really like this very much.

Red Rock Window (2009)

We took our oldest child to Utah
for collage this last year. While we
were there the one place my
husband really wanted to go was
the arches. When we finely did get
there it took an hour of driving with
lots of rock formations to get to the
first Arch. We all wanted to go except
for my husband who took at least 15
pictures of every cool rock formation
from every angle. I just wanted to
see my son one last time we were
leaving for home the next day.

Almost Spring (2009)

I did this with my Dad in mind.
See the dear. Again I think I
could have made the trees lean
slightly more to the left for a
more natural look. But either way
I really like this one.

after the winter (2009)

Ok, so I pulled out my paints
again this year. there is a frog
in the river.

Lonely duck

Look closely and you will see
a duck in the lake.

little crocked cabin

I like this except the cabin bugs
me, it's kind of crocked. This is
where the little corcked man moved
to when he got tired of his little
crocked house in the city. He wanted
more open spaces.

Indian village

I heard a comment about this
one. The person said they liked
the way I did the some from the
village. I love this painting. If you
enlarge it you can see little indians
in the village.

Kate's home

I can again be critical of this one.
the rock bridge dosen't look right.
but this was all done without
instruction.

Down Hill

There are several things about
this painting that I would change
if I could. The river whould be
slightly more to the left at the
bottom. and the trees should
be slanting a little more to the
right. I think if I did that the
painting would look a little better.
But it's not hard to be critical of
ones own work.

winter bliss

This is the final lesson piece I
have, and it's one of my favorites.
I really love ithe trees, I just think
it looks so real. Others who see
it do also. I quess I have some
talent for this, I just have to be
patients and take my time. This hangs
on my own wall.

Lighthouse peace

I really love this one. It's again
from the lesson book. My sister
Tina loved it also so I matted and framed
it for her. She got it at Christmas time
this year, and loves it. She is planning
to hang it in the bathroom of her
daycare. I will look really good
there, the colors are perfect. Cool huh.

Still Life

another lesson piece, I still don't
know how I did this one so well.
And those nobs on the gord still
amaze me, how did I do this and
could I repeat it again. um.

abandonded

This is another lesson peice from
the book. I really like it except I don't
think I got the piece of the roof that
sticks out quite right and then I think
the roof is a little too blue. But mostly
I like it. 2005

country road

I decided to take up painting
one day in 2005 and baught a set of
paints with an instruction book.
The lesson book went
through many different things.
I have enjoyed learning this
skill. This painting is from
that lesson book. I think it turned
our really good. What do you think?
